Ian firmly believes that "balance is the key to life." He advocates for a holistic approach to your improved movement, by encompassing physical, mental, nutritional, and emotional well-being.
Ian’s journey began as a competitive swimmer and continued in the United States Army, where he dedicated over 24 years of his life to protecting the people of the United States. His military experience instilled in him a profound sense of discipline, resilience, and the understanding that balance is the key to life.
Following retirement from the US Army, Ian has continued his journey to help people achieve wellness by receiving additional education and certificates in fitness, scuba diving, and massage therapy. His multifaceted experience makes him an exceptional movement coach. Whether you're looking to achieve your movement goals, learn self-defense, explore underwater realms, or simply enhance your overall well-being, Ian's expertise and passion will guide you on your journey to a healthier, more balanced life.
Ian holds master's degrees in public health, Business, Occupational Health, and a USCG 75 ton Boat Captain License.
He has several Health and Fitness certifications to include Personal Trainer, Yoga Alliance instructor, Group Fitness, USA Weightlifting Coach Level 2, Adult & Child Swim Coach, Krav Maga Instructor, SCUBA Instructor, and Army Fitness & Combative Trainer. He obtained an education in massage therapy at the US Career Institute in Colorado then specialized in Thai massage at the Sunshine Massage School in Chiang-Mai, Thailand.
